T.K. Hernández, acclaimed writer, journalist and photojournalist, announces the launch of her latest book, “Sin Título: The Art of Osmany Betancourt Falcón (Lolo),” a fascinating exploration of the work of one of Cuba’s most renowned contemporary sculptors. This beautifully edited book offers a visual document that captures the essence of Lolo’s artistic journey through a collection of striking, captivating and powerful photographs.
As the author of four significant works, including “The Cuba Interviews: Conversations on Foreign Investment and Economic Development,” Hernández brilliantly showcases Lolo’s impactful art, compellingly documented with contributions from noted scholar and curator Helga Montalván. The book features photographs from Lolo’s own archives, and those of his assistant and photographer, Sully Rodríguez Reyes.
